Bogota contributes to the positioning of the country as an important gourmet destination. Its various dining areas, such as the Zona G on Calle 69, the Zona M in La Macarena and Zona T on Calle 82, Zona C in the historic center, among others, give us the opportunity to discover restaurants with unique and different offerings. One way to know about the available cuisine is at the Alimentarte Food Festival, which has been held now for 12 straight years in Parque El Virrey, and is becoming more and more prestigious, not only among the audience but also throughout the culinary world.

The aim of this event is to show visitors and tourists how the diverse cuisine offered by the country, between traditional Colombian food and international cuisine, make Colombia a cosmopolitan and multicultural world-class tourist destination. In addition, all profits generated are used to help the families of the Colombian police.

Alimentarte 2014 arrives to offer tourists and locals the delights of nearly 150 different restaurants, with the presence of renowned restaurants and chefs representing different parts of the world, who every weekend offer their best selections to show that Bogota is synonymous with gastronomy.

For this new edition Alimentarte presents both a national and international cuisine. Workshops will be organized in different restaurants in the city and conferences will be given in the academic forum.
