What is the Greater Bogota Convention Bureau

Greater Bogota Convention Bureau is a business unit in Invest In Bogota, in charge of the promotion of Bogota -Region in the local and international markets as a world-class destinations for meetings & Events. Its purpose is to bring congresses, conventions, incentive travel and events for the destination.

Objectives:

• Activate the productive sector associated with events and contribute to a greater tourism’s flow.

• Contribute to improving the positive reputation of the destination in terms of meetings and events.

• Improve the environment for meetings and events in the destination. 

Vision:

Preferred destination as a host for meetings and events in Latin America.

Mission:

As a public-private partnership between the Bogota Chamber of Commerce and the Bogota City Government, the Convention Bureau is the best allied for event organizers to make successful, memorable, safe, and sustainable meetings in the destination.

The Bureau´s work impact many sectors, such as: airlines, hotels, transportation companies, event organizers, meeting venues, food and beverage, and complementary services such as: event set-up and ephemeral architecture, registration and accreditation, audiovisual aids and technology, audio-conferencing and simultaneous translation, decoration, photography, video, among others.
