Bogota, present at the 59th edition of FICCI
The 59th edition of the Cartagena Film Festival (FICCI), which will be held from March 6 to 11 at the walled city, will feature an appearance by Bogota in a showcase of its strengths and advantages for the creative industries sector.
The city will be the star of a commercial, produced by Invest in Bogota and its partners, that promotes Bogota as Colombia’s, and Latin America’s, audiovisual capital and seeks to highlight the city's wide range of locations, ideal for any production.
Bogota will also lead a discussion with special guests, filmmakers and field experts during the festival, who will exchange their thoughts and professional perspectives about the sector. Participants include the Bogota Film Commission, Cinemateca Distrital, the Creative Industries and Contents Cluster of Bogota, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Centro Ático, the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, the Mayor’s Office of Bogota and Invest in Bogota.
FICCI is one of the country’s oldest and most important festivals that brings the latest in Ibero-American cinematography and provides an opportunity to display Colombia’s progress in this sector to the world.
