Bogota Fashion Week: the capital’s most important fashion event arrives againl
This event, aimed at promoting the business development of new Colombian fashion talent and providing tools for growth, will be hosted by Bogota from April 24 to 26.
A new edition of Bogota Fashion Week (BFW) will be held this month in the city, seeking to position Bogota as an international business capital of fashion. The event, which is organized by the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, has established itself as a trade and promotional platform. During this week many national and international players assemble to promote the creative talents of Colombian designers, brands and businesses.
The designers selected by BFW have a special space designed to showcase a sample of their collections to customers and professional buyers, interacting, exhibiting and marketing their products at an event that seeks to strengthen and complement the exhibition of brands that are displayed at the traditional fashion shows.
The new edition of the city’s most important fashion event will take place at the Agora Convention Center from April 24 to 26. During these days there will be many different activities, such as a specialized business conferences, catwalks, showrooms, performances, pop-up stores, an academic agenda and networking, among others.
Fashion has established itself in Bogota as an engine of the economy. More than COP 37.5 billion have been invested in innovation in the industry, especially in the sectors of clothing, footwear and leather goods.
As well as positioning itself as a space for movement and contacts in the fashion business, BFW attracts important exponents of fashion, influencers, celebrities and press from around the world, whose expertise helps to promote the business development of Colombia’s fashion industry.
