More than 100 international experts will meet in the Colombian capital from April 4 to 6 at one of the most important transport events in Latin America.

Movility in Bogota

Today's cities are constantly thinking about how to improve their transport systems to enhance the quality of life of their citizens and suit their different needs, including the environment, economy, design and culture. For Bogota mobility projects are of enormous significance for the city’s urban and social development.

With this scenario as a backdrop, the 8th International Conference on Mobility and Transport will be held in Bogota between April 4 and 6 this year, organized by Corferias in partnership with Transmilenio S.A. This event, which the capital seeks to position as one of the most important in Latin America, will take place on the premises of the capital’s convention center.

With the recent implementation of the longest Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line, Bogota has become a world leader in transportation - so much so that the model has been replicated in other capital cities.

This time the event will be attended by more than 100 international experts on mobility and transport, especially in the field of passenger transport, benchmark companies manufacturing, distributing and assembling passenger buses, coaches, utility and special transport vehicles.

Argentina is the guest of honor at this version of the show. This Latin American country has remarkable similarities with the Colombian capital in issues of urban development and mobility and it will occupy 10 of the 33 spaces available in the thematic agenda of the event.

The main matters of interest to be examined during the event are:

  • Urban development and mobility.
  • The Bus Rapid Transit and other transportation systems.
  • Technology and culture at the service of the user.

A broad academic agenda, different networking areas, integration between visitors and vendors will be complemented by experiential environments for all participants.

The event will present an overview of the future of passenger transport in the city and hopes to become the most complete and representative fair of the transport and mobility sector in Colombia and the continent.
