Demanda de materiales y dispositivos eléctricos en crecimiento 

Bogotá Región concentra el 71.1% de la producción de manufacturas eléctricas, equivalente a COP$150,7 mil millones y genera el 61,5% de las exportaciones de este tipo de productos 

 

Crecimiento sostenido de la demanda interna  

Sólida presencia de sectores consumidores con perspectivas positivas de crecimiento: 

  • La actividad de construcción aporta COP$14.996 miles de millones al PIB de Bogotá Región, registra una fuerte aceleración de 6,2%, superior al crecimiento promedio nacional de 5,8% y muy por encima de la dinámica registrada en México (0,9%) y Brasil (0,2%). 
  • Tan sólo en Bogotá Región en 2019 se lanzaron 55.250 unidades de vivienda nuevas. 
  • El sector de suministro de electricidad, gas y agua aporta COP$8.704 mil millones al PIB regional, aproximadamente el 2,8%. 
  • Bogotá Región es el mayor centro industrial del país concentra el 41,8% del tejido manufacturero y el 37,4% en términos de empleos de Colombia. 
  • Existen, además proyectos de ciudad con incidencia en el aumento de la demanda como el metro de Bogotá, infraestructura de carga para la movilidad eléctrica y soluciones de ciudad inteligente. 
  • Proyección de alcanzar una flota de 78.000 vehículos eléctricos a 2030, principalmente taxis (50.000) y buses (250 articulados). 


Oportunidades de inversión 

  • Fabricación de productos con alto componente tecnológico y de dimensión/peso bajo relativo. Orientación a satisfacer demanda doméstica y exportación EE. UU. área Andina y Centroamérica. 

  • Material y equipo eléctrico para instalaciones industriales y comerciales 

  • Materiales y dispositivos para el desarrollo de transportes eléctricos masivos: metro, tranvías y trenes intermunicipales. 

  • Equipamiento eléctrico para sector TI, telecomunicaciones y centros de datos. 

  • Centros de recarga para electromovilidad: VE, VEH y micromovilidad.
