The average temperature in the capital city over the last ten years is 14.3 degrees Celsius, a significantly lower temperature compared to other areas of the country, where the average temperature is 27.3 degrees Celsius. At lower temperatures, data centers find significant savings in cooling costs.

The Bogota region has lower environmental risks compared to other major cities in Colombia.

Under the assumption of a high impact earthquake, only 6% of the buildings in Bogota would present severe or critical structural damage.
