Science, Technology and Innovation Campus

The Campus of Science, Technology and Innovation (CTEI) aims to consolidate and strengthen the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem in Bogota and the region, promoting collaboration between academia, the public sector, the private sector and citizens. With this synergy, it seeks to position Bogota as a global benchmark in science, technology and innovation, transforming it into an international hub of knowledge, development and creative economy..

This initiative aims to turn the city into an epicenter for business solutions, training of human talent, creation of startups and technological development. In addition, its design integrates spaces for co-creation, knowledge transfer, business acceleration and networking, promoting competitiveness and the generation of high-impact opportunities that contribute to the development of a smarter and more connected Bogota.

El Campin Sports and Cultural Complex

The purpose of the project is to rebuild the El Campin stadium and urbanize the surrounding 17 hectares. With the development of the proposal, the new stadium will have a capacity for more than 45,000 spectators. In addition, a sports complex, a multi-purpose auditorium, a commercial area and a specialized hospital will be available to the public. This project was presented by the concessionaire Sencia as a Private Initiative, under the Public-Private Partnership scheme. The concession will be for 29.6 years.

The POT Bogotá Reverdece 2022-2035 (Decree 555 of 2021) establishes the formulation, structuring and execution of various areas of interest for the District and the development of the citizens of the Bogotá Region, including the Airport District.

Initiative that seeks to generate in the area of influence of El Dorado airport a strategic territory for the country, positioning it as a node of specialized services for all Latin America; in this first stage of the project, the area of Engativá will be developed, which comprises 393 hectares, with potential logistics vocation.

Construction of an MRO at El Dorado

SGI Aviation is interested in installing an engine shop and an MRO at El Dorado airport. The first phase corresponds to the establishment of the workshop specialized in the maintenance and repair of aircraft engines and, subsequently, the Dutch company would be interested in installing three hangars for aircraft maintenance. With these two projects, Bogota will become an aeronautical maintenance hub in the region, a strategy aligned with the city's Airport District.

Real estate development of Metro stations - Pilot station 6

Contracting a business partner that, with technical, financial and administrative autonomy, will develop and operate a real estate project directly connected to Station 6 of Line 1 of the Bogotá Metro, which is located at the intersection of Primero de Mayo and Boyacá avenues. This station has 5,600 m2 of available land and a total of 13,000 m2 of rentable land.

The purpose of this model is to make better economic use of the land and to contribute to the city's urban development within the framework of the AIM (Area of Modal Integration) contemplated in Decree 555 of Bogotá's Land Use Plan (Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial).

Modal Integration Complexes (MICs)

It seeks to facilitate the integration of different modes of transportation (buses, bicycles, automobiles, etc.) to improve interurban and regional mobility, through the construction of 6 specialized infrastructures, located at strategic points in the city (North Highway, 80th Street, central, 13th Street, South Highway and exit to the plain), for the transportation of cargo and passengers. Similarly, the Modal Integration Complexes (CIM) propose the commercial use of the area of influence of these structures and international partners will be sought.

The project seeks to improve regional connectivity and boost the economy through a sustainable transportation system. It will be 100% electric, will benefit more than three million passengers per year, and will have a route of approximately 5.5 kilometers.

Of these resources, 40% will be provided by the Colombian infrastructure pre-investment fund, which is part of the FDN, and 60% will be provided by the Cundinamarca Government, through its Secretariat of Transportation and Mobility. Once this phase is completed, the feasibility study will be carried out, which will define the detailed designs.

Solid waste collection and recovery model

Structuring of the project for the collection, treatment and use of solid waste in the city of Bogota from 2026. The waste collection project in Bogotá seeks to transform the current linear model into a circular system of solid waste management, with three main pillars: maintaining the zoning of the service to promote innovation and recycling, dignifying and formalizing the work of recyclers through modern infrastructure and mechanized vehicles, and implementing advanced technology for waste recovery.

This model, aligned with sustainability goals, includes the creation of ecopoints and the use of organic waste to generate biomethane. Despite financial and regulatory challenges, the project has international support and a structured schedule that prioritizes public-private collaboration to achieve more efficient and sustainable waste management in the city.
