Bogota is the fourth best metropolis in Latin America and the Caribbean to invest
The Global Best to Invest recognition is published by Site Selection Magazine. This ranking is based on the evaluation of three categories that are important to determine the attractiveness of a metropolis for investment.
These categories are:
- Conway Data Projects Data 2018-2022
- Kearney Report on Global Cities 2022
- Global Startup Ecosystem 2022 Report (Startup Genome).
Bogota is Latin America’s Best Business Travel Destination (2021–2022–2023)
This recognition comes from the World Travel Awards, an organization that celebrates and honors excellence in the travel and tourism industry.
One of its awards is Latin America’s Leading Business Travel Destination. To be considered, a city or tourist destination must meet rigorous standards in areas such as business and tourism infrastructure, diversity and quality of lodging services, accessibility, connectivity, safety, and political and economic stability. Once destinations meeting these criteria are identified, an online vote is conducted among travel industry professionals, frequent travelers, and general consumers.
Bogota Ranks Third in the Latin American Startup Ecosystems Ranking
This ranking is published by StartupBlink, one of the most comprehensive research and mapping centers for startup ecosystems worldwide. Their Global Startup Ecosystem Index is the most complete annual index of the global startup economy, covering 1,000 cities and 100 countries.

This recognition is granted by Startup Genome and published in the Global Startup Ecosystem Report, which lists the 100 most important emerging startup ecosystems in the world. It is based on factors such as startup-friendly policies, strong funding rounds, and events that attract global ecosystem leaders.
